Question about white oak dots Im pretty inexperienced at working with wood, I’ve only ever don small projects however Ive decided to make a live edge desk. I purchased a slab of white oak however when I got home one side of it had black dots on it as seen in these pictures (http://ift.tt/2uExOpS). I was wondering if anyone here could I identify what they might be. Really hoping its not mold.
